112. Training a Trainer (Learnings): 8. Content - Clear

This week we look at the fourth type of content we as trainers need to prepare for our students. The content must be CLEAR.

What do I mean? It means that the student has to understand what is being said, what the key takeaways or messages to bring home are. It is no use if we use complicated themes and examples if we cause confusion at the end of the day. Remember that we seek to teach and have students learn.

Our goal is not to merely impress our audience, but learning has to take place.

So in your class, do your students find your material clear and understandable? Or are they so impressed that they feel they can never catch what you are trying to say?

Aim for the former, not the latter.
