145. The Benefits of Reading: 2. Gaining awareness for everyday life

We continue in this vein of thinking that reading books is beneficial to you.

Today we look at general awareness on everyday life topics.

Many people get their awareness knowledge from the net nowadays. While I do that too, it is sometimes good to just pick up a well researched book and delve into certain topics.

In the books that I am holding in the picture, the Health and Life books published by Reader's Digest are interesting reads.

Nothing beats sitting on the arm chair, sipping through a cup of coffee and reading a well written book.

The knowledge gained in terms of awareness helps me keep hopefully current in topics that may not interest me tremendously, but need to know....

What do you read when it comes to topics that you know are important but are not totally interested in?
